To all my valued family, friends and followers…I’m going to be taking a break from social media and my blog for awhile. My husband (of 43 years) Mike is in the end stages of M.S. (Multiple Sclerosis).
He’s been suffering with this awful disease for 15 years. Sadly it advanced greatly and out of all our controls late last year. We had to make the decision to put him on Hospice Care. We are not sure how much time he has left, but he deserves my undivided attention.
The difficulty of trying to keep up with the blog and social media responsibilities has become a dedication of time that is unfairly spent away from whatever time I have left with my husband.
Coupled with my ongoing recovery from a fractured femur a few months ago, life is not easy for either of us now. So I need to focus on caring for him as best as I can and for myself as well.
Keeping my promise…
From the time Mike was diagnosed, I promised to keep him home until the end and not put him in a facility-away from those that really care about him.
We have equipped our living room with a hospital bed, hoyer lift, bedside table and his motorized wheelchair. We have help from family, friends and professionals almost daily for what he needs. I’m not going to lie, it’s a lot. And it is mentally and physically draining.
Until later…
I will miss the distractions and escapes from reality that my blog and social media allows, but there are more important tasks for me in the days ahead.
I wish you all well. And I send a million hugs to everyone.
Take Care, be kind to those around you.
Much Love, Chauncey

Totally understood Chauncey. Take all the time you need! Your health is important too. Don’t forget about self care
I was living with MS for years before being officially diagnosed in 2021. I got annual MRIs, and I did not take any meds due to side effects. I had one flare up in 2021. My legs decided to a break, and I was numb from the waist down. I decided to try MS-4 from Uine Health Centre. The numbness and Muscle spasms went away after a couple of weeks, but it took almost 3 months to walk properly without a cane. In June, it will be four years without incident, and I am extremely happy that I made the decision to not take any meds and went for the MS-4 formula even though my neurologist got upset and one told me to quit my job because I will be disabled. Well, I am not disabled, I still refuse to take those meds, and I am doing just fine. Believe in yourself and go with your instincts. Doctors don’t know it all. I’m surprised a lot of people with MS haven’t heard of the MS-4 protocol, I got the treatment from uinehealth centre . co m I am absolutely confident that this protocol offers a viable solution. I hope you find it helpful.
Wow, such interesting information. Proof positive that you have to do what you consider is right for you. Wishing you all the very best.
